This session will walk through the steps of creating a well curated portfolio and a Teaching Philosophy Statement that tells the best story of you as an educator.

One of the best ways to improve our teaching and get new ideas is by learning from our colleagues, both within our departments and across the campus. Observing our peers, as they teach, has the capacity to both strengthen our faculty community and challenge our beliefs on how space, technology and presentation impact effective learning.

Tulane University’s Center for Engaged Learning and Teaching (CELT) welcomes all faculty, staff, post docs, and graduate students to the 4th Annual Sparking Success: Faculty Development Conference, January 10-11, 2020.
Conference breakout sessions are taking place on Tuesday, January 11th virtually on ZOOM from 8:30AM-3:30PM.
This weeklong, in-person institute, Tuesday, June 20 through Saturday, June 24 | 9AM - 3PM is limited to just 20 participants, will provide full-time faculty from across a variety of disciplines with knowledge, resources, and support to (re)design a course infused with inclusive and equitable pedagogy principles. The institute will be led by a nationally-recognized higher education leader, Dr. Chandani Patel.
Members of the Tulane University community are invited to save the date for the university's inaugural Professional Development Day to promote professional development opportunity's, networking and shared knowledge.
Staff and faculty are invited to get involved in the day, which will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
