We will be discussing one case following what we learned at the Harvard Case Method Teaching Seminar. At the end of the session, we will provide participants with an example of a teaching plan for this case and answer any question related to teaching with cases.

Scientific teaching has the main goal to make our teaching style more scientific. During this workshop we will provide key insights into how teachers of science could customize their own teaching style to promote the critical thinking, rigor, creativity and spirit of experimentation that defines research, and at the same time, capture the process of discovery characteristic of any STEM discipline.

This experiential talk will introduce some basic concepts of Somatic Experiencing for the Performer or Speaker. After a description giving context for these methods, there will be a demonstration of tools to enhance the clarity of presenting, storytelling and speaking (or musical instruments or singing or any public presentation) using Somatic Experiencing and Alexander Technique.

CELT is excited to host our annual Poster Day for student researchers and recipients of the CELT Summer and Academic Year Awards for Faculty Mentored Undergraduate Research. This is a unique opportunity for the next generation of researchers to present to the Tulane community. 

The Poster Day is free and open to all faculty, staff, students, and the community. We hope to see you there!

Over 40 students representing research in over over 15 majors from 4 schools will display their research posters and be on hand to discuss their work.

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to navigate the grade book, learn how to grade with SpeedGrader and use advanced grading features like weighted assignment groups, Individual gradebook view and Grading history.
