Embedding Information Literacy in Your Courses with Tulane’s Scholarly Engagement Librarians
Information Literacy is a highly relevant goal for students to achieve across disciplines. Incorporating information literacy education and learning activities into courses can be a challenge. But, it doesn't have to be. Specialists from the library are available to guide and support you in achieving your goals for students.
From this workshop, you'll:
- Define information literacy and map it to one of your course learning outcomes;
- Explore synchronous and asynchronous Scholarly Engagement offerings and identify potential uses for each;
- Select one Scholarly Engagement service or resource that you could implement in your course plan.
