Getting Students to Read! Using Multimedia and Tags in Annotations

Bobbie Garner-Coffie, Instructional Technology Specialist and Liv Newman, CELT Associate Director

Collaborative annotation with Hypothesis allows your students to annotate directly over their course readings and holds them accountable for continuously and actively engaging with course materials. In this workshop, our team will lead participants in a discussion about various collaborative annotation and active learning strategies that can engage students with course texts in a variety of ways.

Participants will come away from this session with multiple strategies to creatively use social annotation in their courses.
