Creating an EDI Statement for your Course and Teaching Portfolio
Anneliese Singh, Associate Provost for Diversity and Faculty Development and Shelby Norman, Program Manager Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

EDI statements are used in a multitude of ways in academia - from applying to faculty positions and graduate school to including one's EDI values on a syllabus or guiding students through exploring their own EDI values. In this workshop, presenters review the essentials of writing an EDI (equity, diversity, inclusion) statement that is authentic and connected to meaningful change in one's research, teaching, and service work as a faculty or graduate student.

Tuesday, October 17th | 12:30PM to 1:30pm | In-Person Workshop
