Workshop: What to Expect When You’re Expecting Your Students to Complete Research-Based Assignments

In this workshop, Instruction Librarians will introduce faculty to the instruction services and ways of effectively incorporating library services into the syllabus, with particular attention to the research paper as the model assignment for a course. The workshop facilitators will guide participants through the process booking a research instruction session, expectations during instruction session as well as strategies/ideas for planning small/large assignments that incorporate effective skill building in information and archival literacy for the students. 

This workshop is taking place in-person on the Tulane University, uptown campus.
