Scientific teaching has the main goal to make our teaching style more scientific. During this workshop we will provide key insights into how teachers of science could customize their own teaching style to promote the critical thinking, rigor, creativity and spirit of experimentation that defines research, and at the same time, capture the process of discovery characteristic of any STEM discipline.

The Tulane MakerSpace is open to all students, faculty, and staff regardless of department or school affiliation. This talk will focus on introducing the Space to interested faculty from non-science departments and discussing how it might be a useful resource in both teaching and research. A tour of the MakerSpace will be included.
