Screencasts, short instructional videos students can access online anytime, are a great way of supplementing in-class instruction. Screencasts benefit students through supplementation of textbook and lectures, often offering extra examples and expanded explanation of concepts. Instructors can save time and effort by growing an evergreen library of screencasts where students can find answers to frequently asked questions, tutorials for software, and sharing these videos with colleagues. Come learn the basics of screencasts and how to make them a part of your course.
